I made this card for my lovely mum . She loves gardening ,so i thought this pretty little Tillda would be perfect !......and well i just wanted her to know that i was thinking about her.
Images are coloured with copics and the sentiment i did on the computor.
Now its been pretty cold here, and the snow is just getting deeper and deeper !
Sophia my daughter decided to go for a snowball fight !
I thought she will be freezing when she gets back , so i decided to bake alittle treat for her for when she returns.
This is one of the cookies i baked
Now it does'nt look too bad does it?
In fact my kids were so shocked that mum was actually cooking and that the oven was being used for food and not fimo , that they asked if i was feeling alright ..... had i bumped my head perhaps ?
"no " i said - i just thought you might like a baked treat "
shocked - i knew they were shocked because they stared at me and didnt blink for 10 mins and they were'nt argueing either....
Then ofcourse reality struck when they bit into the cookie.... what looks like an ok tasty chocolate chip cookie was in actually fact ......

Calvin mouse you cheeky thing ... who do think made that and put that in the oven eh ?

some exciting news
As you know i had alittle time off from blogging and unfortunatly was unable to fulfill my Dt spot with whimsy stamps. However i am back on board now and very lucky to part of a fabulous Dt Team !

As for the cookies, if you make them too soft, you can't dunk them in your tea. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it ;)

Love the card - colors remind me of spring, and I'm SO READY for spring!
Now for that "kit" cookie - try putting parchment paper on the sheet under them with about 2 minutes less on the timer & see if it helps ya. You're not a bad mum, either...I'm sure your dinners for your girls taste better than my mum's did growing up - always amazed me that no matter WHAT kind of steak cut, they always came out tasting like shoe leather. *LOL*
