Now ive been a lucky bunny this week as i have recieved a DT parcel from the U.S ..
full of yummy glass glitter and these new earth flakes !
Heres a Valentines card and box ( should be filled with chocolates , but that big gorrilla came again and ate them !) hmmm anyway i made it for the Allsorts challenge blog - hearts and flowers
and also One stop challenge blog - love and kisses .
I used a Sarah Kay stamp and the papers are from Minds Eye the "Beloved " range.
and the sentiment stamp is from Whimsy stamps.
Ive edged the card with the Earth flakes ...
I cut out a heart from the Martha Stewart deep edge punch that Calvin bought me from Charmed Cards.
I used glossy accents to glue the glass glitter and the tiny beads, it turned a plain cardstock heart into something a bit more special .
I used Crackle glaze on the flowers , you can't really see in the picture how lovely they look crackled and glazed.
Now if your wondering were you can get your hands on that fabulous glitter .. heres the link to the Meyer Imports blog and shop ... blog - shop
I have to say , my pictures dont do it justice , it is gorgeous !
and they call it the better glitter - i know why now !
and i did get very excited about the Earth flakes - so many things you can texture with them, i will be having a good play with them in the next few weeks!
