This is one of Whimsy's gorgeous carousel horse's from
the Chrissy Armstrong collection.
Im not quite sure why the twisted ribbon does'nt look straight , i think its just the angle of the piccy !
Well spring is here , so i chose some springy colours ,
I do love those colours of light turqiouse , reds and greens, reminds me of tulips springing up in the grass.
The image is coloured with copics .
I made this card for these challenges.
Charismcardz - spring - i used spring colours - bright and cheery !
Cutecard thursday - dimensions - which ive added with the twisted ribbon .
Now then .... that mouse of mine has been VERY quiet... wonder what he is up to ?
Oh no ... He has spotted the cupcake cottage !
he looks upto something very sneeky to me ...
OI ! Calvin .... that cupcake has been sold Mr ! Where do you think you are going with it ???

Maddy hun...I am ROFLMAO here...you are bonkers...or should I say...your mouse is bonkers...but I just have to say...I LOVE what you do with Fimo...I have packs and packs of the stuff...ever since I first saw your art .. and still cannot make a single thing that resembles anything other than a mushroom LOL

Hi Maddy!! I love your carousel card and of course Calvins shop is adorable. Just a thought but have you ever been inclined towards doing an animated film with Calvin? I think it would be amazing and great fun. You're megga talented craft wise and in imagination.

have i !!!! oh yes many years ago proberly the late 90's ... i was desparate , i phoned every animation place in the country ! and that wasnt alot ! even wanted to go back to collage , but there was no courses for it .
unfortunalty im better at the model making and storylines than with a camera and you need the right equipment too ..
before calvin mouse there were fairies , theres a story behind every type of charactor i have ..and how they came about - even calvin mouse ... he has a special one too !
will write a post on it one day ! maybe soon ?

The colours you chose for the carousel horse are just outstanding! I really want to copy that colour scheme somehow! But it is also the way you placed things on the card too, from the twisted ribbon to the big blue blossoms. I just adore it so much!
