Just a quickie post from me tonight as i am off to sophs for dinner - spag boll is on the menu ..
Its been a year today since my dear Dad died - i did'nt realise when i started this post that the topper was
a miss you card--- isnt that strange -i just didnt put the two together until ive just looked up and realised ...and this is the first miss you card ive made too !
My Dad had a stroke as well as already being very ill and was on oxygen for a few years ,
I got him into card making ! and strangly when he held a pair of scissors his shaking stopped . Many of
my forum friends sent my dad card making gear ! his favourite was rudolf , he just loved sticking the pom pom nose on ! rofl .... oh i do miss him ...
I know I posted this pic a year ago - but i can't resist posting it again as it so makes me smile ...
This was a big day for my dad - he wrote a card for my mum , big step for someone who has had a stroke .. we marked the occasion with a photo !
My Dad never stopped laughing at his rudolfs googly eyes !
Im not going to be sad today - my Dad made me laugh
too many times to not think of him and smile !
Well back to my card topper eh?

I've used The girls paperie papers from charmed ,Now if you have'nt tried these double side papers then your missing out ,they are totally ,totally gorgeous !
I've used the prima rasperberry tea paper for the frame - the frame is a nestie which was part of the blog candy i won on Jacqui's blog . Cats whiskers .

I'm trying to type this with tears in my eyes.....such a beautiful post to honor you Dad. I have lost both my parents and a day doesn't go by that I don't miss them.

Stunning card and a beautifully touching post. It'll be 20 years next fall since I lost my dad and 5 years this week since I lost my mom. They were both into creative stuff too. Probably where I get it from. :) Thanks so much for sharing this with us at Top Tip Tuesday! :)

This is the first time I have visited your lovely blog. Your cards and papercrafts are gorgeous.
I was very touched reading about your lovely dad, and seeing his sweet photograph - Bless him! It reminded me so much of my dad who died on 1st December 14 years ago and I miss him so much.
