Challenge tilda card.

Ive been a busy bee in the craftroom this week , lots to show 

over the next few days !

But to start off with this is my card for the Just Magnolia Challenge 

which was a great  sketch by Jane

I actually manage to use my cricut machine , 

which really does not like me usually !!

It must have been in a good mood as i managed to cut 

the mat with no problems at all !

I used a quickcutz die for the leaves and sitting tilda is coloured with copics.

Challenge card and Calvin cupcake Caper !

This is one of Whimsy's gorgeous carousel  horse's from

the Chrissy Armstrong collection.

Im not quite sure why the twisted  ribbon does'nt look straight , i think its just the angle of the piccy !

Well spring is here , so i chose some springy colours ,

I do love those colours of light turqiouse , reds and greens, reminds me of tulips springing up in the grass.

The image is coloured with copics .

I made this card for these challenges.

Just a quickie !

 Just a quickie card for a few challenges as im really busy on  alittle project 

i am making at the mo..

 This is the gorgeous Sophie , she is just adorable .. 

The card has been edge in pom pom trimming , Im really into this at the moment !

The papers are from a big stack - dont know the name of it 

as i ripped the front by accident !

The Stroppy Craft Room Fairy and blog candy Winner !

Well well well now what do we have here ?

Its Gladys Glitter and shes in a right old strop !

Shes a craft room fairy and shes run out of glitter !

I made her for my friend Rachel , it was her Birthday yesterday and i wont see her until tomorrow.

I chose the colours to match some  challenges ,

Creative inspirations - white , yellow and green - yellow hair and  the dolie is white and her buttons on her back are yellow , but my the picture was blurred and i couldnt use it !)

and ive incorporated the colours of 
Papertake weekly - lilic and lemon (hair colour and button at back)

I used some of  my DT march bloom kit from Tracy at 

Creative Treasures, 

I used a one of the blooms and cut it into quarters for her wings and used some glass glitter on them .

I would have shown the the card to match ,but i haven't quite finished it yet !

Oh hello Calvin mouse ... I did'nt know you liked fairys ?

I worry about you sometimes Calvin mouse .... thats Meyer Imports German glass glitter ,  from my glitter DT kit ... its gorgeous !

Now then id really better get on with this blog candy ..

Cupcake Cottage !

This is a very special gift set i made...

Im not sure what to show you first !

It all started with Bev's beautiful stetch on the Just Magnolia challenge,

I  got so inspired that it ended up a full gift set !

Cupcake Cottage Gift Set !

It comes complete with , Card and Matching Box for it (pitured at the back of the card in the photo, CupCake Cottage and the cutest little dolly sitting on a fabric doile !

Well i'd  better start off with the card first had'nt i ?

here she is cute Tilda ! 

I used a martha stewart punch for the mat and coated the 

frills in Glass Glitter ! It actually looks like sherbet coating !!! gorgeous effect !

I coloured Tilda in with copics and she has some glass glitter 

on the frill of her skirt.
the papers are by Papermania .

I really really enjoyed doing this sketch .

I am entering this into these challenges .

Inside the card.

A very large fimo / polymer clay and paper cupcake that sits on top of the cottage , 

but can also be taken off too !
Edited to say --- only the tiny roses are fimo - the other blooms are paper.
the pink ruffle is fimo and so is the blue icing.

Front of cupcake cottage , adorned with a little brass knob 

and decorative blooms.

Now then this cottage does have occupants !

Oh yes indeedy !

Well would you look at that , looks like Teddies Tea Time !

Every time i open that little door i think to myself that its like 

looking at the secret life of Teddies !

Look at the little fella at the back, he is noshing on a little cup cake !

Theres Teddy holding a dolly .... that dolly looks familiar !

thought she looked familar !

Heres Dolly holding Teddy and a cupcake !

she is obviously joining them for tea ! heheeeee !

Sneeky peek !

Its been awhile since i really did some serious fimo- ing,  but the last two days ive been hidden away in my craft room totally engrossed in something rather special . 

I decided a few weeks ago that since my blog does say mad imaginations and does state creative designs in papercrafts and fimo that i really should start doing alittle , should'nt i ? 

I think the last time i came out of my craft room looking like a cave woman and the house 

in TOTAL disaray was the time i did the cinderellas castle made from old PG tips box HERE.

The time before that was the Fairy Tree house Exploding Box  HERE, i do seem to have 

these sudden mad moments were the fimo comes out, hide away and starve for a few days 

like some sort of mad proffessor in his lab making the next miracle potion !

My boyfriend Calvin thinks those moments are hilarious !

Well i can't show you till tommorow .... but i will be a tease and

give ya a couple of 

sneeky peeks !

In the Pink !

Well i've been a busy old bee today !

I made this cute card then went on to go craft shopping and bought some nice crafty treats ..

This is little Patience and i adored colouring her with copics !

She so reminds me of my daughter Sophia when  she was little , 

even the hair style ! Just the way she is holding that kitty is like being thrown back in time !

Sophia was'nt exactly known for her delicate handling of  animals say we say !

The look on that kitty is just precious !

The image is by Mo Manning and ive coloured her in with 

copics  - the blooms have a sprinkling of glitter and ive 

used a fiskars threading water punch for the decorative edging.

I used some old broken braclet beads  that my daughter had made that were still attached to the head pins  and added it to the white heart for spoonful of sugar

Here kitty , kitty !

Well today i got my box of scraps out and decided it was time i was hoarding far too many of them ...

~We all do it don't we ? Everytime we make a card and the leftovers are bigger than a couple of mm it goes into a box - then when you can't get to your new stash without having to clear boxes out , then thats time for it to be used !

So todays card i have used mainly scraps , apart from the pink gingham asperagus paper.

I added quite abit of detail to this card .

This card i made for the ~Sugar Bowl challenge which was a fabby sketch by Judy and the 

please include was stars.

The image is a sweet sugar nellie stamp - but i threw away the packaging 

and im afraid i can't remember her name - sorry !

Is'nt she just a darling feeding little kitty  !

I used a white pen to dot the scallop edge and stars .

I thought id try something different so i cut some paper frills out and curled the ends slightly 

and then bobbed them under the blooms - i rather thought this was quite pretty !
