Easter Gift Card set.

Its that time off year were we all seem to be buying chocolate for loved ones for Easter - well a little alternative gift is these cute little pots , complete with a little bag of compost and seeds  ! Very easy to make too. All you need is two expesso desposable cups - the kind you get from starbucks !
                                                                 Card and Pots.

The card image is a gorgeous little clear stamp called  Eline's flowergirls 2 -  card paper and the paper for the pots  is from the Bo Bunny Country Garden Pad , the beautiful butterfly on the card is made from a Bo Bunny stamp - Ambrosia and ive just trimmed around it and glittered it with stickles.Paper, Stamp , flowers are all available from Charmed Cards and Crafts.
Charmed Cards also have a  Spring Competiton you could win  £30 to spend it the shop , see Karens blog for details . HERE
The gorgeous metalic glitter ribbon from charmed is so soft and flexable - not like you find other types of glitter ribbon , i was really pleased with it and used it for the bottom edge of the pots - theses are so simple to make and the exspesso cups are ideal as they are made for using with liquid .See below for a short tutorial.

Tutorial .

Easter Gift.
2 x Expesso cups - (save them from a coffee shop or buy from ebay like me !)
Round stick - i used 6" popcake sticks.
cellophane bag
rustic twine /string
crop-a-dile ( only for using with stick )
strong glue ( i use crafters pick - )
paper, flowers and adornments .
small envelope for seeds.

1. First you need a template of your cup - Cut down the seam and trim around the folded bit of the top and also cut out the bottom so your left with this .
2. Using this as your template ,place on the back of your patterned paper and draw around it - add a couple of mm on the seam side - just to over lap it slightly .Cut out . Glue using strong glue to the cup.

3. Glue  a length of glittery ribbon to the bottom edge.

4 , Trim down a cellaphane bag , so it just fits neatly inside , fill with a couple of tablespoons of compost and tie at the top with rustic looking string.
5.I used the Bo Bunny notelets from country garden collection and trimmed around them on the stick , using my cropadile for the holes to slide the stick through and added some ribbon at the top and glued flowers around each cropadile hole.
The butterflies are again from Bo Bunny notelets and the little envelope for the seeds  is a punch i have - but you can find an envelope template on the internet and reduce it to the size you want.
