Miss April Showers ...

I've been trying to post on here for nearly a week - but  blogger is refusing to upload pictures for me !!
Apparently its something to do with the broadband , its so slow . The good news is that virgin is going to give me some sort of refund !- Maybe i can catch up on some crafty spending with that !

Since i can't post one of my new cards and fimo - i thought i would show you an old one .. if you have'nt dug deep into my blog you will have missed this one !
This is from a few years ago - Blogger does not want to upload but seems to be happy for me to copy paste thank goodness !

Anyway - Let me introduce Miss April Showers !

Well its April and what happens in April ?

Showers ofcourse !

 I love this blue and white combo , not one i can say ive really used before.

I cant remember what the papers are called (sorry) as they 

were some scraps  I had.

tilda is coloured with copics and ive used my martha stewart punch from 

charmed cards .

The flowers i made from fimo.

Inside the card is decorated also 

Now shall we meet Little Miss Fairy Showers ?

She aint happy is she ? Its still raining and her wings are getting wet ! hee hee !

Good job she has her raincoat , hat and wellies on ! 

I made her from Fimo , a polymer clay that bakes in the oven. I dont use

moulds , just model with my hands .

Its Dripping here , dripping there ... however is she going to fly home ?

I have to say i really really had fun doing her little wellies !

Gorjuss Cards and fimo Teddy set.

Well i very nearly fainted today when i delved into my fimo box - there was hardly any fimo left ! I had planned on making a fimo dolly to match my Gorjuss Girl card , but had to settle making a teddy instead !

This set is just adorable and comes complete with card box.

I can't keep calling her Teddy - so ive named her Mabel ! I think it suits her ! .. She has a little jacket on with roses on the top of the sleeves and roses for buttons - very cute and comes with fabric doily too.

The card stamp is a Gorjuss Girl called Forget me Not  and the papers are from the 6 x 6 pad from Bo Bunny  Ambrosia collection  and Bo Bunny pearls all from Charmed Cards.The card is embellished with a metal clip , lace, blooms , pearls and gorgeous glittery brads that i had left over from another Bo Bunny collection.

This set is for sale - £14.50 plus 3.00 postage costs .. paypal accepted.

Felt keyrings and pins !

Over the last few weeks Sophia , my daughter and me have been making some felt keyrings and broaches or brooches ( as some people spell them ) . There are loads of craft fairs and stalls near where i live and ive been itching to get Sophia making things ... so we have been having a good play with some felt -

The flower shape was from a chipboard flower that we just used as a template and the circles were cut from a sizzix die cutter . I love these they are so funky !

We had great fun using the bigshot and dies - 

Very relaxing sitting there sewing - and nice change actually for me from card making - 

I shall be getting the old fimo out in the next of so too - i do miss it !
