Look whats going in the oven !

 

For most people its tradition for sundays to pop a roast in the oven - Not in Maddy's house !

Both kids have left home - so in my house what goes into the oven is fimo ! ( polymer clay )

I made these today and they are all ready to be baked !

Now if you see any imperfections , they get sorted after baking . 

 

                 I haven't named this fimo dolly yet - so if you have any suggestions pop it into the comment box - not sure what name she looks like ! she is certainly cuddling a blanket tight -

Oh now this one is definitely a Miss Cupcake - don't ya think ? look at her little button shes loves them ( i dont think teddy minds them either  !)

and these are Ickle cotton reel Ted fairies - this is a christmas one - he has a snowman at his feet !

Behind him is a cupcake Fairy Teddy .

 Oh and this one is  rather shocked a butterfly has landed on her ! 

The cotton reels were kindly donated by a lovely lady called Sonia on do -crafts forum , and they will be sold for cloth cat charity .

I am actually a terrible terrible cook ! (Ask my kids )

However i have only ever burn't one fairy in 20 old years  !

 Now im off to the craftroom  to make some matching cards for dollies !

Some Sharing News and a tag

Just a wee blog post as i am in bed with bad joints - however i do have something to share ... i was feeling pretty miserable yesterday then i read Krista Smiths blog post  about the children who suffer from a terrible condition called EB - epidermolysis bullosa. 

Their  skin is as fragile as butterflies . Krista was very touched by the children who suffer from it and you can see why here ,, its heartbreaking . 

So Krista designed a beautiful Digi called Butterflies  the first week of sales of this digi is going to the Butterfly fund to help these children. This cutie is adorable and available i think later today .. You can find out about it on Krista's blog Here and please share too !

I've used a gorgeous Mo Manning stamp called KiKi from Charmed Cards.

Glass Glittered Saturated Canary Tag

Out of all the saturated canary images - this one is my favourite , it reminds me of my daughter Georgette , she has a red 50's dress with dots on and the puffy underskirt and wears the dotty bow just like this -

I've used October Afternoon papers - so pretty and i've used German Glass Glitter on  the flourish , heart and silver and red on the butterfly - its such a shame that the camera does not capture the real bling on this tag - the glass glitter reminds me of crushed diamonds , so pretty !

The butterfly is a box memory die and ive reinforced the die, cut .

I was very tempted to make a fimo dolly to match , but i thought i'l save it for another time ... i really enjoyed making this .

Fairy Tilda and a Christmas Fimo Fairy - Teddy Love x

 Well the fimo has eventually come out and i just could not resist making a fairy for this gorgeous fairy Tilda !
For the purpose of the challenge on the STAMPTACULAR SUNDAY ive use a stamp for indents on her dress .. so please still count the stamping xx

Seems very strange making christmas cards when the sun out , but i had more red fimo then any other colour so i thought i might as well do a christmassy one .

 For the top of the card I used an old die ive had for years and forgot about it , i think its from an sizzix alphabet set but contain some decorative ones with it too. I had a good old rake around my craft room and also found a large leaf punch i had'nt used for yonks too - it was like getting new stash the amount of things i re -found !

I've called the Fimo Fairy Teddy Love , and if you look closely you will see why , how cute is that teddy hugging her foot ! hee heee !

.  Her wings have been coloured with pastels and glittered ( i think that may be hard to see in the photo )

This Gift set is on EBAY i am selling this  and donating 70 % of the sale (and a few other items to donate too) for the charity Cloth Cat in Leeds - its a music charity and they really have been invaluable to my 

daughter who has aspergers , they really have set her on the road to singing and learning guitar... and they make a big difference to so many people - music is great therapy !

Pretty Pink !

 

Well i did this card last week for the Just Magnolia and Hanglar Challenge which was Pretty in Pink and i missed the deadline ! Fortunatly this weeks challenge is anything goes with the option of bling and butterflies, well i got the butterflies and alittle silver charm and metal corners ( not sure if that counts as bling so much mind !) Anyhows i guess i can enter it for this week !

I've been a busy bee this week , practicing my baritone ukulele - oh yes - Calvin my boyfriend treated me to one  a few months ago and since i know alittle guitar the baritone has the same chords , just few strings less. 

So ive been having a great time - they are great fun and a bit bigger than a normal uke .  

and before anyone says anything about it being old hat ,,,, i hear Tyler Swift uses one on tour ! 

See im cool me !  Ha ha !

Shabby Chic Saturated Canary Card .

Its been a while since ive crafted and blogged , but I saw these gorgeous saturated canary images by Krista Smith  and I got abit inspired again ! I love her striped and spotty dress !

 I used Bo Bunny papers from the pad Country Garden collection from Charmed Cards.

I made some of the embellishments myself , and was pleased as punch I managed to make a zip looking embellie from a corner tag and brad - I painted it white with artists textured paint - its very thick and you can also colour it if need be. I also used liquid pearls for her spots on her dress  and stamped with the textured paint on the corners on the image..

The lace is also from charmed Cards.

I painted a chipboard butterfly with textured paint and then sprinkle ultra thick embossing powder and scraped some chalk pastels into it ,and i was really please with the result its embossed very randomly and is rather cool effect !  i then added a Bo Bunny butterfly embellishment and a fabric butterfly.

I'd like to enter this card into this challenge .
